Calendar & Event Data
Time Squeezer requests access to your calendar through Apple's EventKit framework to detect free time gaps. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded, shared, or sold.
We only read event timing to calculate availability. We do not store or transmit event details like notes or locations.
Advertising & Analytics
To keep the app free, we show ads using third-party providers (such as Google AdMob). These partners may collect and use certain data to show relevant ads:
- Advertising Identifier (IDFA): Used to show personalized ads (only if you grant permission via the iOS tracking prompt).
- Device Information: Such as device model, OS version, and IP address for ad delivery and fraud prevention.
You can opt-out of personalized tracking at any time through your iOS "Privacy & Security" settings.
Data Stored Locally
The following information is stored locally on your device using secure on-device persistence:
- Activity preferences and custom activities
- Work hours and energy schedule settings
- Completed activity history (for Stats)
This data is not synced to our servers. Standard iCloud backups may include this data per your Apple account settings.
Notifications
Time Squeezer uses local notifications to remind you of free gaps. Since these are local, no notification data ever leaves your device or passes through our servers.
Data We Do NOT Collect
Except for the advertising identifiers mentioned above, we do not collect:
- Names or email addresses
- Exact GPS location data
- Behavioral tracking across other apps
Changes & Effective Date
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of these terms.
